CC Jasper announces an open call for artists to participate in a summer group exhibition investigating the psychological and cultural meaning of Tony Soprano, both as a character and as a modern cultural myth.

This is not a fan art exhibition. We are not seeking direct representations, reenactments, or nostalgia. We invite works that channel the Sopranos’ atmosphere and tension: suburban dread, fractured masculinity, intimacy, exess, paranoia, violence, family appetite, and power’s uneasy vulnerability.

Tony Soprano is less a single figure than a symbol of contradiction: brutality with sensitivity, destabilized authority, unraveling masculinity, and a collapsing private psyche. We welcome submissions engaging these conditions directly or indirectly. All media will be considered.

Please email submissions to gallery@ccjasper.nyc by June 28.

Submission guidelines:

  • Artist name

  • Up to 3 artworks

  • Artwork details

  • Short artist statement or brief not on the work
